Download Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC13b to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 [Download link for Mac and Windows][Guide]

iPhone Dev Team has now released the new Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC13b to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. This new Redsn0w uses the same 10n1c's Exploit which was used to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1. And again this is to inform you that, This Redsn0w Again won't be able to Untethered Jailbreak your iPad 2, so iPad 2 users have to wait until an safe Jailbreak has been released for it.

Only a few weeks after the 4.3.1 untether created by @i0n1c was released, Apple pushed out firmware 4.3.2. Thankfully, it appears Apple didn’t have a chance to fix the hole used by @i0n1c’s untether, so he ported his code over to 4.3.2’s kernel. Today’s redsn0w has been updated to include it.

The 4.3.2 untether works on all devices that actually support 4.3.2 except for the iPad2:

iPhone3GS
iPhone4 (GSM) iPhone4 users please wait for a pending fix
iPod touch 3G
iPod touch 4G
iPad1


As always, ultrasn0w unlockers should stay away from redsn0w and only update their firmware through a custom IPSW. We’ll release a new version of PwnageTool sometime this week.

Note that many people are currently having problems updating to 4.3.2 through saurik’s server. You’ll need to remove the gs.apple.com entry in your hosts file in order to restore directly to Apple’s servers.

This Jailbreak is not for iPad 2 users as it Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC9 won't be able to jailbreak your device at the moment, iPad 2 users have to wait some time for the exploit to untethered jailbreak iPad 2.

Guide: How to Untethered Jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G (FW 4.3) on iOS 4.3 and iOS 4.3.1 with Redsn0w [For Windows]

 

First of all you need to download the Following:

Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC9 for Windows [Download link]

iOS 4.3.1 or iOS 4.3 IPSW File [Download Link]
iTunes 10.2.1 [Download link]

Step 1: First of all you have to, Update and restore your iPhone firmware to iOS 4.3.1 using iTunes. Here's how to:

Open "iTunes" and select your iPhone in sidebar, Windows users press “shift” and restore and browse the  Custom Firmware.

[Or] *You can skip this step if you’re already running iOS 4.3.1/tethered jailbroken iOS 4.3.1.

Step 2: Now, Launch Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC9 and Browse for iOS 4.3.1 Fimrware IPSW File.

Step 3: Now check Cydia and click next.

Step 4: Please plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button.

Step 5: RedSn0w will now guide you on how to put your device in DFU mode. follow the steps carefully till your device get’s into DFU mode.Follow the simple steps to put your Device into DFU Mode:

• First of all,Press and Hold the sleep button for 2 seconds.
• While holding the sleepbutton,Press the Home button for 10 seconds.
• Now release the sleep button but continue Holding the home button for about 15 seconds. 

Step 6: One in DFU mode your iPhone will restart, Now, just wait while Redsn0w gets installed and jailbreaks your device. Once finished your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will restart automatically.

TrobleShooting:

Any Windows users seeing “Waiting for reboot” for too long (more than 20 seconds or so), please try “shaking” the JB process by unplugging then replugging your USB cable (while letting redsn0w continue to run). Also, try using a USB port “closer” to your computer (as opposed to on your monitor or behind another hub).
