You just have to follow our simple steps to Untethered Jailbreak your Device. See the Guide below:

This Jailbreak is not for iPad 2 users as it Pwnage tool won't be able to jailbreak your device at the moment, iPad 2 users have to wait some time for the exploit to untethered jailbreak iPad 2.

Note: With this you can also retain Baseband(Older Firmware) so that you can unlock your iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS with UltraSn0w

Guide: How to Untethered Jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G (FW 4.3) on iOS 4.3 and iOS 4.3.1 with Pwnage Tool [For Mac]

First of all, you need to Download the Following as it will be required later.

Pwnage Tool 4.3 For Mac [Download link]

iOS 4.3.1 or iOS 4.3 IPSW File [Download Link]

iTunes 10.2.1 [Download Link]

Step 1: Start iTunes and sync your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad and back up all your data before proceeding with jailbreak process.

Step 2: Start PwnageTool 4.3 in “Expert mode” and select your device

Step 3: Browse for iOS 4.3.1 firmware for your device as shown in the screenshot below

Step 4: Now select “Build” to start creating custom 4.3.1 firmware file

Step 5: PwnageTool will now create the custom .ipsw file for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch which will be  Untethered jailbroken.

Step 6: Once the IPSW is build, you will prompted to put your device in DFU mode, Pwnage tool will guide you how to put your device in DFU mode.Follow the simple steps to put your Device into DFU Mode:

• First of all,Press and Hold the sleep button for 2 seconds.
• While holding the sleepbutton,Press the Home button for 10 seconds.
• Now release the sleep button but continue Holding the home button for about 15 seconds.

Step 7: Start iTunes, click on your iOS device icon from the sidebar in iTunes. Now press and hold left “alt” (option) button on Mac, or Left “Shift” button if you are on Windows on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” (Not “Update” or “Check for Update”) button in the iTunes and then release this button.

This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your custom firmware 4.3.1 file. Select the required custom .ipsw file that you created above, and click on “Open”.

This will take almost 10 Minutes and your Device is Jailbroken After That Congratulations!.

How To Unlock iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 on Older Basebands:

Dev Team will release new version of UltrasN0w in some time so you'll be able to Unlock your Device on Following Basebands 01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00.

iPhone Dev Team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC9 for Windows and Pwnage tool 4.3 for Mac to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 and iOS 4.3.You'll also be able to preserve baseband and Unlock iPhone on Firmware 4.3.1 (only compatible basebands) with Pwnage Tool and Redsn0w. You can only Untethered Jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G (FW 4.3) on iOS 4.3 and iOS 4.3.1. We have posted download links for both Redsn0w and Pwnage Tool.

It's just been confirmed that the untethered Jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1/iOS 4.3 will be released on 'Funday' means it's Sunday and it will be released today. iPhone Dev Team will release both Pwnage Tool for Mac and Redsn0w for Windows to Untethered Jailbreak our iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. These two Jailbreak tools will Untethered Jailbreak the Following Devices: iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G (FW 4.3) on iOS 4.3 and iOS 4.3.1.

The bad news is that iPad 2 users still have to wait, because this release of Redsn0w and Pwnage Tool won't jailbreak the iPad 2.

Pwnage Tool 4.2 Released For Untethered Jailbreak of iDevices and Preserving Baseband [Download]

iPhone Dev Team member , Mucsle nerd has just informed us of the upgraded Pwnage tool that has fixed iBooks Crash issue seen yesterday. He tweeted this message via his twitter. The updated Pwnage Tool will support Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPod Touch and iPad (and Apple TV).

The jailbreak is now untethered, and fixes the issue with iBooks on Jailbroken iOS devices (ie: it wouldnt work).

• iPod touch 3G
• iPod touch 4G
• iPad
• AppleTV 2G

Improvments:

PwnageTool also includes two very recent improvements to the 4.2.1 JB:  iBooks was just fixed and the wifi problem on AppleTV 2G was fixed.  Both of these fixes will also be available in upcoming Cydia package updates, so if you’re already jailbroken you can wait for those updates rather than restore and jailbreak again.

Redsn0w and Pwnage Tool Will soon be Able to Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1

Few days back Greenpois0n RC5 was launched to jailbreak your iDevice ( iPod Touch, iPhone 3G/4 and iPad)  on iOS 4.2.1 . Just a while ago , Chronic Dev Team Member, Pod2G has just announced in a tweet mentioned to MuscleNerd,  that the entire Greenpois0n RC5 project will become open source soon after 1 week they release the win32 build. This means that the source code of the tool for the jailbreak will be made available to the developers so they can study the tool and find , the way it works, or may be edit it to update for themselves.

The news, however is more beneficial to the renown hackers of the iPhone Dev Team, as they will be able to update there jailbreak tools, that is Redsn0w and the Pwnage Tool and will be able to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 using untethered iOS exploit used in Greenpois0n RC5.
