Skype Wants Users to Create them a "Chat Style", For the Next Version of Skype [You can also Participate]

Skype has now started an competition like event, In which they want their users to create the best Chat Style for the next version of Skype i.e Skype 5.0 for Mac. This is an open source competition any one can participate, you Just have to create the best Chat Style, Submit it, and if People and Judges liked it. Then you might win a Grand Prize and the Chat Style that won the Grand Prize will be integrated in their Latest Skype 5.0 for Mac.

So this is like our Favorite VoIP app is asking their users to make them better, and to improve the UI according to their users choice. This is an simple competition, Just Submit your custom created CSS for Chat and Submit it to Skype before 8th April.

So there are three Rounds in this Competition, with one judge's and one people's choice in each, followed by the selection of a grand prize winner from the six finalists.

New Skype 5.1 for Mac OS X Available to Download - New Features And Bugs Fixed

Skype has released another new Version of their Desktop Skype for Mac. Now even more Video calling and more Socialization with the new Skype 5.1, As it have got some new features in it, also there are some Previous Bugs Fixed in it. Apple Released Mac OS X 10.6.7 , With MacBook Pro Issues Fixed and Other Bugs fixed [Update]

Apple has now again released an updated version of Snow Leopard i.e Mac OS X 10.6.7.This update fixes most of the Bugs in the latest 2011 MacBook Pros. Which users complained that their MacBook Pro freezes and crashes, so this update might help them all with these issues. Most of the other things that are improved in it are MobileMe Back to my Mac service, the Mac App Store, SMB (Windows) file transfers, FaceTime, graphics, and external displays.


The 10.6.7 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, including fixes that:

- Improve the reliability of Back to My Mac
- Resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers
- Address various minor Mac App Store bugs

Mac OS X 10.6.7 Build 10J868 Now Available for Developers

Apple has now seeded Mac OS X 10.6.7 Build 10J868 for Registered Mac Developers. Developers can now access this new version of Mac OS. This Build has been released two weeks after the previous Build was seeded. The previous version Build was 10J860 and Now 10J868 has been released for Developers.

Apple has released this Build because they want Developers to mainly focus on Safari, Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, and Graphics Drivers. But Still Apple haven't gave any Public release date for Mac OS X 10.6.7.

FireFox 4 Beta 12 Released for Windows/Mac/Linux, with 650 Bugs fixed [Download]

Firefox has finally released the new Beta version of Firefox 4. It is now available to download. This new beta version is said to have fixed more than 650 Bugs Including a fix for a memory leak that kept Firefox consuming RAM even without opening new tabs. This new beta version is a massive update for Firefox, a few days ago Firefox was updated for iOS devices and now an massive update for Windows/Mac/Linux version has also been released.

This new version of FireFox has got so many new features and so many other Bugs fixed. Here are it's list of new features that are included in it:

New Features in Firefox Beta 12:
  • Increased performance while viewing Flash content
  • Improved plugin compatibility with hardware acceleration enabled
  • Hovering over links now displays the URL at the bottom of the window rather than in the location bar

These MacBook Pros have the new “sandy Bridge” processors and Light Peak technology renamed “Thunderbolt” integrated in it., We've wait more than a week for these MacBook Pros to release with all the genuines leaks.



Here are the Specs of different models of these new MacBook Pros:

13 Inch Macbook Pro:

New MacBook Pro Specification Leaked

According to MacRumors, They have received some leaked specs of upcoming MacBook Pros from an trusted sources. These new MacBook Pros are to release on This upcoming Thursday. As the release date of these Macbooks are coming closer we're getting more and more details about it. Most of these specs surprises most of us, as reports say these Macbook Pros will be well equipped with an array SSDs that have greater autonomy and be more mild.


MacBook Pro Leaked Specs:
  • 16 GB Solid State Drives on all models for faster Mac OS X boot times
  • The 13-inch model will include an Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor
  • The 13-inch model will increase the number of USB ports to 3
  • A matte screen option will be available for the high-end 13-inch model
  • The SuperDrive will be replaceable with an SSD on the 15-inch and 17-inch models
  • Better screens on all models: 1440x900 for the 13-inch model and 1680x1050 for the 15-inch model
  • All models will be 200-300 grams lighter
  • All models will have better battery life: the 13-inch model will now last 12 hours and the 15-inch model will now last a full 10 hours
  • The 17-inch model will accommodate up to 8 GB of RAM

The surprising thing is that these leaked specs doesn't mention the Intel's new Technology so called " Light Peak Technology". Intel is set to unveil Light Peak on the same day that the new MacBook Pro models are expected to be released.


We have to wait a few more days for this good news to be unveiled Officially. If the leaked specs are any indication, then we are about to see a significant upgrade to the full line MacBook Pro’s.

AppCleaner for MAC OS X - Simply Remove, Delete Apps Completely [Guide, How to]

Here is a handy App called AppCleaner for Mac OS X users which will completely remove and delete Apps from the OS X. Removing Apps in Mac OS X is not as easy as it should be. Whenever you drag an App to trash it will delete the App but it’s associated files will remain on the hard drive. Some apps include an uninstaller to take care of these files. Somehow many apps don’t have uninstaller, So AppCleaner is a very efficient App for deleting and removing apps from the Mac OS X.
How To: Remove, Delete Apps Completely in Mac OS X using AppCleaner:

Step1: Download and install AppCleaner from here.
Step2: Open AppCleaner and drag apps that you wish to Delete / Remove completely.


Step3: After dragging, AppCleaner will display all files associated with that App, Uncheck any files you wish not to remove. then click “delete”


Step4: Type your administrator password and then click OK. At this point the files have not been deleted from the Computer but have moved to Trash. Open Trash and click Empty at top right of it. And your are good to go with your free Hard drive space.

Mac OS X 10.6.7 Build 10J850 is now available for Developers

Apple released a new Build of MAC OS X i.e termed Build 10J850. This new build is an update of MAC OS X 10.6 and this new version is called as MAC OS X 10.6.7. This new build is now available for Developers. Apple has seeded this new build in MAC OS X. This new update has been released just a week after the previous build that was released for Developers.


According to those familiar with the new build, Apple is continuing to request that developers focus their testing on Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, and Graphics Drivers. No known issues are listed in the documentation.

Skype 5.0 for Mac has been released. The label Beta has been removed now and version 5.0 is now finally available for Download. Some new features in Skype 5.0 for Mac are the introduction of group video calling as part of Premium package, as well as a number of user interface and other improvements.


You can try out Group Video calling for free for 7 days, and then purchase either a day pass starting at $4.99 (€3.49/£2.99)* or as a monthly subscription for $8.99 (€5.99/£4.99)* per month.
Skype 5.0 have slimmed things down a bit in the new version, trimming pixels and realigning things to make the app altogether more compact. Skype 5.0 reduced to minimum window size, so that those of you who prefer to keep Skype to one side of screen, for example, can do that more easily.
