LG Optimus Pad Officially revealed by LG at MWC - Specification, Hands-On Video and Release date

LG has just announce officially their dual core processor tablet at MWC called Optimus Pad (also known as G-Slate). It’s running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It has capabilities of recording 3D videos same like Opitmus 3D phone. It’s more or less looks same like it’s other competitors tablets Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with a Google logo on back of the Tablet.

Specifications and Features of LG Optimus Pad:

Display: The LG Optimus Pad features a unique 8.9-inch display.

OS: Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Camera: The world’s first tablet with a 3D camera.

Processor: The new LG Optimus Pad uses NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 1 GHz Dual Core CPU

Dimensions: Sized at 8.9-inch diagonally and 149.4-mm horizontally.

Resolution and Aspect Ratio: Its 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution vividly displays multimedia content in full widescreen format with aspect ratio of  15:9.

Release Date: 

The LG Optimus Pad will begin shipping in local markets starting in March.

Sony Officially Announced Sony Ericsson Xperia Play - Specifications, Images, Videos, Release date

Sony Ericsson has today unveiled three new Android smartphones, introducing the new Xperia Neo, the Xperia Pro and finally confirming the Xperia Play. The Xperia Play, also known as the PlayStation Phone, will launch in March, hitting the market as the first official PlayStation Certified device. It has a 4-inch FWVGA display with a 480 x 854 resolution, 5.1 megapixel camera, 8GB microSD memory card, with 400MB of internal memory.

It’s Powered by a 1 GHz Scorpion ARMv7 processor, the Xperia Play will run Google’s Gingerbread Android operating system, weighing 175 grams and will come in either black or white.

The device will be not ship with the PlayStation Suite, we expected that way back when Sony announced it would be available by the end of the year. Instead, Sony Ericsson will preload the device with one PlayStation One title – problem is, we don’t know what this is.

Twenty game publishers have partnered with Sony Ericsson to launch games specifically for the Xperia Play, including Gameloft, Electronic Arts and Blue Mobile.

Release Date:

Xperia PLAY, the world’s first PlayStation Certified smartphone, will be available on the Verizon Wireless Network in the Spring 2011.

Samsung Galaxy S 2 Officially revealed - Specification Chart and Hands-On Video

Samsung has atlast offcially announce their most awaited smartphone of this year the Samsung Galaxy S 2 GT-I9100. Samsung Galaxy S 2 has some magnificent specifications though some of the Specs are still not known but we will shortly confirm that too. Samsung Galaxy S 2 comes with NFC (Near Field Communication) chip same like Nexus S. It’s amazing thin infact it’s over 0.2mm slimmer than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc’s thinnest point. It has TouchWiz 4.0 (as it’s being called) on top of Gingerbread is clearly Samsung’s most refined custom Android skin to date.
