60-year-old man named Hiromitsu Shinkawa, survived the tsunami sweep after floating on pieces of the roof of his house. With the top piece of the destroyed house, Hiromitsu Shinkawa carried into the sea and floating for two days off the coast of northeast Japan and drifted up to 15 kilometers. During the float, Hiromitsu trying to get the attention of passing helicopters and boats, but all in vain.
