Now the question that beckons in my mind is weather Apple consider India as a dumping ground. The same happened with iPhone 3GS. India got its hands on iPhone 3GS only when the US and rest of the world was about to embrace iPhone 4.

Looks like Apple consider India only as a market where it can get rid of the inventory of old products.
